Air Algerie @ Manchester, x2 !

On the 29th of December, the first Air Algerie B763 to have been painted at Manchester was rolled out of the hangar, and the 2nd B763 arrived for paint at the same time ! Although the weather was horrbile, with heavy rain and harsh winds I managed these...

A nice B757-200 @ MAN !!

Today we had overcast skies all day (nearly always the case when there are decent movements due !), with the morning Brussels being operated by OE-LGC (Austrain Arrows Dash 8 - 400), Starquest B757 caught and the great looking Privatair B752 !

This morning an Air Algerie B763 arrived at Manchester for painting with Air Livery...
Typically the weather was grim, but managed to get it just after touchdown...

The New Turkish B737-900ER makes it to MAN !

This morning's Turkish was operated by their newest aircraft type, the B739. The aircraft was on approach when a dog loose on the airfield which closed the airport for almost an hour ! Of course the only aircraft to divert away from MAN was the TK... But it arrived around 3 hours later, and I managed an alright shot considering the conditions...

Star Alliance B773 - 9V-SWI @ MAN

This morning saw the first visit of the new Star Alliance schemed Singapore B773 into MAN.... Seen here departing to Munich at around 9 am....

The new Monarch scheme A300 departing on its second flight out of MAN, did not turn out too bad considering it went short!

Brand new Air Transat scheme departs MAN !

This morning the Air Transat A332 finally departed in thier new scheme...
Typically the weather was awful, with fog lowering the visibility.... But heres the shots I got anyway..

A nice over flight....

This afternoon N787BX, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner overflew Manchester, enroute from Dubai to Shannon... I took a few snaps of it, as it was the first full scheme B787 I had seen....

This was not the first time I have photographed this aircraft, as I caught it at Farnburough Airshow last year, wearing the basic scheme... (See this in Trips 2010).

Wideroe @ MAN

After having gone up for the Wideroe yesterday arriving in very bad weather (on a football charter) and the the forecast for today being sunny, I ventured up once again for a departure shot !! After going just over an hour late, it was well worth the wait !! (Not sure my Mum would agree though !)

'100 Years Air Cargo' Finally visits MAN...

Today we were lucky enough that the special Lufthansa Cargo MD-11, D-ALCC visited on the morning flight from New York to Frankfurt. Although the weather wasn't great, we still got the sun on this one !

Tonlesap Airlines first B737-700 departs MAN after painting !

This afternoon the First B737-700 for Tonlesap Airlines departed Manchester on an air test before heading to East Midlands. Typically, with a decent movement it was cloudy.. but its not a scheme/airline I would get everyday around here, as they are from Cambodia !
